Neural Network Art

The research project Aesthetics, from the research lab Computational Design and Visualization Lab, consisted on implementing ant colony algorithms and self-organizing maps (a special type of artificial neural networks), with a focus on creating art – each ant leaves a trace that is determined via self-organizing maps.

This project was supervised by Prof. Penousal Machado.
